Oh my. Well, time to start fresh. In the year since my last update, I have been doing multiple things. I still write poems and stories, as well as do a bit of game developing, but I have also expanded my horizons to composing music and making videos. I don't have any professional experience in these two fields as I do with writing and game development, but I am really confident in the work and hope to evolve more in these fields. Ours is called Extraterrestrial. You are and alien that was captured by the USEM (United States Extraterrestrial Militia). Upon leaving your cryochamber to go to the infirmary for shots, you manage to escape. Your commander contacts you and tells you that you NEED to get off that planet. You must fight your way through the military base, Fort Marcum, to get to the launch pad and escape. One of the models that is needed to be made for the game was a cryochamber, and it was my job to make it. Here are the two versions I have. I have organized a team of Flashpoint Academy students, which we came to name Parasytic Studios (also posted above), to work on a Doom 3 mod called 'The Sickness'. It is a First Person Survival Horror PC game. The game features a character named Steven who must fight against the beings from hell to save his town, and possibly the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is not much modelwise on the site for the game, but our modeler is hard at work creating props for the game and has about 4 or 5 done. Our design team, consisting of 3 members (which I am a part of), is working beautifully on getting the Formal and Dramatic Elements of the game. We are also close to finalizing the script for the game. We also have a Sound Effects guy, and a Composer for our game. We also just recruited 2 concept artists to draw characters for our modeler to work on. We are also working on getting a programmer, as our game will require a lot of new code and modified code for the game.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We don't have a set date for release, but we are hoping to get it released by the end of May. If not, our team will be meeting at the school over the summer break to work on the game. I enjoy working with these guys because they are very dedicated and love the job they are doing. There will be other sets of this as I finish them, but here is what I have so far. The process I went through to get this was pretty simple if you know 3DS Max. I created my square primitive, inset the top, then extruded it down. After that, I created a smaller square primitive, rotated it to the angles I needed, then placed it so that is was sticking out both faces of one side of the model. I copied them over till I had a row, then copied the row down to create basically a full pallet of squares. I copied and moved the pallets to each side and then used ProBoolean to delete the squares and the area the squares penetrated.
